Rock Cottage is a traditional stone built 17th Century Lake District cottage. It is located in the friendly village of Lindale. Available on a self-catering basis for both long and short breaks (if the cottage is free 4 weeks before the date of the short break required), the cottage sleeps up to 6 people. In addition to original features such as log fires, flag floors, beams and exposed stone walls, Rock Cottage also includes a luxury bathroom with large twin-ended jacuzzi bath.

Conveniently located in South Lakeland, the cottage provides easy access to Windermere, Coniston, Kendal and the Edwardian seaside town, Grange-over-Sands. Lindale village itself is situated on a hill with spectacular views of the Howgill fells and Levens Valley. It's the ideal base for walking holidays, a spot of mountain biking or simply relaxing and enjoying the view.

Nestling into a rock face, this renovated semi-detached cottage sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms. An additional 2 people can also be accommodated on a quality Multi-York sofa bed in the lounge. The master bedroom has a king size four poster bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds.

The solid pine kitchen features all modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and turbo oven. Traditional elements have not been forgotten - both the kitchen and lounge have roaring log fires. The utility room also holds a washer/drier for your convenience. Children are most welcome at Rock Cottage with a cot, high chair, fireguards and stair gates available upon request. The cottage also benefits from its own car parking space, a small cottage garden and full central heating.
