Welcome to Rock Cottage

From roaring log fires to a luxurious jaccuzi bath, Rock Cottage has everything to tempt the most discerning traveller.

Main Bedroom

The main bedroom has a four poster king-size bed. This room has wonderful views out over the Howgill fells.

Kitchen

Although you may prefer to head to one of the local pubs for a tasty meal, Rock Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen. This includes a turbo fan oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and all the ultensils necessary to prepare and serve a home cooked feast.

Bathroom

After an active day exploring your beautiful surroundings, why not pamper yourself with an invigorating shower or an extended dip in the large twin ended jacuzzi bath!

Lindale Village

Lindale is a friendly village with a good range of facilities at your doorstep. There is a shop and post office, church, park and two pubs. There are numerous local walks.

Lounge

Settle down in front of the log burner in the cosy atmosphere of the lounge. Sit back and relax on the comfy sofas, watch a DVD on the HD Flatscreen TV, or listen to one of your CD's or dock your Ipod on the quality Hi-fi system. There are also a wide selection of games provided for your enjoyment.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is pleasantly furnished in pine with two quality single beds and ample storage space.

Dining Room

The solid wood dining table can accommodate six guests comfortably, with the room providing pleasant local views. A high chair for small children can be supplied upon request.

Original Features

Although the cottage has been recently renovated to include all the modern conveniences the traditional features have been retained. You will find original lime stone fireplaces, exposed stone walls, flag floors and ceiling beams.

South Lakeland has much to offer. From the picturesque villages of Cartmel and Cark to the spectacular scenery around Coniston and Windermere there is something for everyone. Walking, mountain biking and climbing are just a few ways in which you can explore your beautiful surroundings.
